Kolkata: Woman killed in amusement park accident

Kolkata, Nov 13 (IBNS): A 23-year-old woman was killed when a rocking cradle crashed at an amusement park in Kolkata's twin city Howrah on Sunday afternoon, reports said.

According to reports, when few women were riding rocking cradle at Belilious Park, its ropes suddenly collapsed and the joy ride crashed onto the ground at around 3:30 pm.

At least two women were seriously injured in the accident and rushed to Howrah State General Hospital, where one of them- Neha Singh- was declared brought dead.

Sustaining head injury, another woman is being treated in the hospital's ICU.

Police from local Bantra Police Station have started investigation into the matter.
