Lakhimpur Kheri/UNI: A district court here in Uttar Pradesh Wednesday extended hearing on a bail application moved by Ashish Mishra, the main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case in which eight people, including four farmers were killed on Oct 3.

The petition of Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son will now be heard by District Judge Mukesh Mishra on Nov 15.

A total of 13 people, including Ashish Mishra and two farmers, have been arrested so far in the incident.

Hearing on Mishra's bail was earlier also postponed on Oct 28 as the case diary was incomplete.

Along with Mishra, the bail petitions of two other accused Lovkush Rana and Ashish Pandey will also be heard on November 15.

Samajwadi Party is observing "Smriti Diwas" on Wednesday to remember the people who died in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has asked all the district units to light earthen lamps in remembrance of all those killed.
