LJP announces nine more candidates in second list for Bihar polls

New Delhi, Sept 21 (IBNS) The Lok Janshakti Party on Monday released its second list of nine candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections.

The names were announced by LJP Jamui MP and party chief Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag Paswan in the national capital.

 
In what could give rise to a controversy, the  list names among others, Vijay Singh from Chakai seat which is represented by senior Hindustani Awam Morcha leader Narendra Singh's son Sumit Kumar Singh, the  the sitting MLA from the constituency.

The LJP and the HAM are contesting the elections as part of the National Democratic Alliance.
 
The names of  12 candidates, spread over different phases, were declared in the first list.
 
 The second  list also  reveals that relatives of leaders are preferred. The Mokama candidate Kanhaiya Singh is the brother of LJP vice president Surajbhan Singh.

Bihar will vote in five phases to elect a new 243-member Assembly in five phases from October 12 to November five.
