New Delhi, Mar 7 (IBNS): Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, on Wednesday, appealed to all political parties to find a solution to end continued logjam in House to enable it to function properly, according to media reports.

Following the disruptions in the normal functioning of the parliament, she had called for a meeting with the House leaders of the political parties.

Media reports quoted Mahajan as saying that party leaders should meet each other and resolve the issues as the ruckus in the Lok Sabha creates a bad impression in the minds of visitors as well as those watching the proceedings on television.

On Wednesday, both houses of the Parliament saw storymy scenes and had to be adjounred.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned amid protests by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) over special category status for Andhra Pradesh, among other demands, media reports said.

According to reports, opposition parties as well as members of TDP and AIADMK stalled the proceedings in the Rajya Sabha, over the PNB banking fraud, special package for Andhra Pradesh and Cauvery Board issue.

Later, the House was adjourned till Thursday.
