Thane, Feb 21 (UNI/IBNS) The highly-decomposed body of a man, aged around 35-40, was recovered from the Warala Devi lake in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi district, police said.

After getting an information that the body was floating in a lake on Wednesday, police rushed to the spot and recovered it.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem.

The hands and legs of the victim were found tied with a rope, when it was fished out, indicating that some one had killed him.

However, there were no injury marks on the body. A case was registered and further investigation was on, they added.
