Man ends own life depressed by sister's terminal cancer
Bengaluru, Dec 15 (IBNS): Upset by his sister's terminal cancer and the inevitable, a 32-year-old man ended his own life by hanging himself in Karnataka's Vijaynagar, reports said.
According to The New Indian Express, the deceased has been identified as Harsha Shetty, a techie, who worked as the technical leader at the financial services firm Wells Fargo at Kadubisanahalli.
According to the outlet, Harsha had gone to visit his ailing sister at a private hospital in Manipal on Sunday, where the doctors told him about her status and the waning chance of a recovery.
Harsha's wife Ramya said that he was visibly upset and spoke to her about it.
She added that on Wednesday night she heard a noise and rushed to the bedroom, where she found him hanging from the ceiling.
The body was taken to KC General Hospital, where dctors pronounced him dead.
Police have registered a case of unnatural death on Thursday.
