Martyr Maneswar Basumatary’s family hails IAF for avenging Pulwama terror attack

Guwahati, Feb 26 (IBNS): The family members of Maneswar Basumatary, the brave CRPF jawan of Assam’s Baksa district, who was martyred in the Pulwama terror attack, have welcomed the act taken by the Indian Air Force as Indian fighter jets have struck at terrorist targets in Pakistan, destroying a training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The family members of Maneswar Basumatary hailed the IAF’s strikes and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for avenging Pulwama terror attack.

Sanmati Basumatary, wife of Maneswar Basumatary said: "I am very happy after hearing the news that, India has killed terrorists in the Pakistan territory.

“My husband will also get peace. All those like me will be happy for this act,” Sanmati Basumatary said.

On the other hand, Kamal Boro, a family member of the brave CRPF jawan has appealed the Union government to continue this against Pakistan.

“Following the Pulwama terror attack, the answer India has given to Pakistan is absolutely welcomed. Our family and my uncle will also get some relaxation following this act,” Boro said.

People in Assam’s Biswanath district on Tuesday evening celebrated the airstrike conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Pakistan.

People came out on the streets and celebrated the joyous moments by bursting crackers and raised slogans “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.

People across the state celebrated the IAF’s airstrike in Pakistan.
