Militant killed, Army officer injured in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Nov 23 (IBNS) One militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in North Kashmir’s Kupwara forests, reports said.

A Lt Colonel and a soldier were also injured in the gun battle that took place during a flush out operation.

Amy’s 41 RR, 4 Para, 9 Para commandos along the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a massive search operation in the forest areas in Manigah.

Details of the incident are awaited.
