Minor shot dead due to dispute over playing DJ in marriage function

Jamui, Mar 10 (UNI) A 14-year-old boy was killed and a youth critically injured when some outlaws opened fire owing to dispute over playing DJ in a marriage function at Daulatpur village under Jamui Adarsh police station area in the district late last night.

Police said here today that one Sandeep Thakur was killed on the spot and a youth Subhash Kumar Yadav critically injured when some unruly people opened fire on a rival group following dispute over playing of DJ in the marriage function of Phuleshwar Yadav`s daughter. The deceased boy was a native of Dehri village under Sono block area in the district.

Police said the youth was admitted to Jamui Sadar Hospital but was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital in a serious condition.

The body of the deceased was sent to Jamui Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
