Miscreants burn down Manipur’s second oldest Catholic school

Guwahati, Apr 26 (IBNS) : Miscreants have burnt down Manipur’s second oldest Catholic school on Thursday night, officials said.

 

According to the reports, miscreants torched St Joseph Higher Secondary School, Sugnu in Manipur’s Chandel district. 
 
The school premise was badly damaged and all the documents, files of the school were reduced to ash in the fire. 
 
According to the reports, the school authority had recently suspended six students and it is suspected that, some people angry with the suspension order and committed the crime. 
 
Various organisations of Manipur have strongly condemned the incident and demanded the administration to take action against the culprits.
