Mob beat up Muslim youths shouting 'Pakistan zindabad' slogans in Bihar

Patna, Nov 1 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Angry villagers in Bihar thrashed a group of Muslim youths on Tuesday after they allegedly shouted slogans in favour of Pakistan, media reports said.

The incident took place at Mocharim village in Bodh Gaya—the pilgrimage city of Buddhists.


Reports said the said youths had assembly to attend a dance programme oragnised by a lesser-known organization Glaze Trading India Private Limited held last night.

Suddenly some 16 youths from the minority community began shouting slogans like “Pakistan zindabad”.

Subsequently, the villager caught three of them and mercilessly thrashed them before holding hostage the whole night.

The police had to battle hard to rescue the accused from the villagers’ clutches and take them under custody. The police are now probing if the accused had any links with SIMI.
