Modi, Nepalese PM Prachanda hold bilateral talks

New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Nepalese PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Thursday sat down for bilateral talks that will see a slew of agreements being inked between the two sides.

MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi in a tweet said that PM Modi greeted PM Prachanda at Hyderabad House ahead of the talks.

“India-Nepal | Deepening the bonds of friendship and cooperation. PM @narendramodi greets PM @cmprachanda of Nepal as the latter arrives in Hyderabad House for bilateral talks.”

Earlier, the Nepalese PM visited Rajghat to lay a floral wreath to pay tribute at the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi.

The spokesperson in a tweet said: “PM @cmprachanda of Nepal paid solemn tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat.”
