Modi only meets with suit-boot people: Rahul Gandhi in Bihar

| | Sep 20, 2015, at 02:55 am
Champaran, Sept 19 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a 'feku' (poser) and asked people of Bihar to beware of his "suit-boot ki sarkar."

Referring to Modi's humble tea seller background, Gandhi said: "He apparently used to be a tea seller but I don't know if that is true. Today, he only meets with suit-boot  people."

Addressing his first rally at Ramnagar town in poll- bound Bihar, Gandhi said: "He said that he and his friends wearing suit-boot are going to transform India, give two crore new jobs each year, provide double the minimum support price for farmers and would deposit Rs 15 lakh in everyone's account by getting back  the black money which is stashed abroad."

"Did it happen? He was and will remain a poser," Gandhi said.

He said 'Modi and his friends' will take the lands of farmers here in the name of development.

He said the Congress will try to protect the poor people.

"If we come to power in this state then  we will create employment opportunities in Bihar... We will give a credit of Rs 4 lakh to youths in Bihar for education," Gandhi said.

Referring to the Vyapam scam and the Lalit-gate, Gandhi said Modi is trying to save his 'ministers' involved in the scams.

The Congress is in alliance with Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United against the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming  Bihar Assembly polls.
