Modi opened new road for development in Jammu and Kashmir: Amit Shah

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said PM Narendra Modi has opened up the road for development in Jammu and Kashmir with the implementation of new rules in the state in recent times.

The Indian government recently scrapped the Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir which provided special status to the state.

The government also bifurcated the state into two Union Territories.

"PM Narendra Modi has opened the road of development for Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

Shah asserted that there are no restrictions are in the state.

"The restrictions are in your mind, there's no restriction in Kashmir," he said.
