As poll results are being counted on Tuesday, AAP is sweeping as it leads in 63 of the 70 seats, with BJP trailing with only behind ahead in 6 seats. Congress is leading in none.
All set to be the Chief Minister of Delhi again, Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said he will end bribery, VIP culture and serve everyone, adding that when someone is on the path of truth, all forces helps that person.
"If you are on the path of truth, all forces will come together to support you. I thank you all. I am also scared that people reposed such faith in me," he told the crowd of cheering supporters in his first public .
"I will be people's chief minister and VIP culture," said Arvind Kerjiwal. "People have done something spectacular," he said.
He said his job will be to end bribery first.
A BJP spokesperson on TV said the victory is a referendum on Arvind Kejriwal and they must have done something remarkable in their 49 days in power and communicated well with the people.
The poll was seen as a battle between Arvind Kejriwal and the charisma of Narendra Modi since a Modi wave was sweeping rest of India since the BJP came to power last year at the centre.
