Moga: NIA team to handle Khalistan flag case probe

Moga/UNI: Chief Judicial Magistrate Amandeep Kaur Monday ordered Moga police to hand over the probe and all related papers of Moga Khailistan flag cases to NIA.

All the four accused including Inderjit Singh Gill, Jaspal Singh, Akashdeep Singh and Ram Tirath were produced in front of special Judge of the CBI Court where these accused were sent to judicial court.

According to official police information, three of the four accused including Inderjit Singh, Jaspal Singh and Jasgvinder Jagga tested positive of coronavirus and only Ram Triath tested negative.

The NIA team as per the orders of Mohali court directed the Moga police to handover the probe to NIA and NIA petitioned to Noga court on September 8 and court of CJM today ordered handing over the probe to NIA (National Inviestigation Agency).

The accused hoisted Khaslistan flag on August 14 on roof of district administrative office complex Moga.

The federal agency initiated the process to take over the case.
