Itanagar, July 18 (IBNS): Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki on Monday congratulated his successor Pema Khandu, after the latter was sworn in as the new Chief Minister following the Supreme Court verdict, which reinstated the Congress government in the state.

"I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Shri Pema Khandu & the team. I wish all success for the overall development of #ArunachalPradesh in the days ahead," Tuki tweeted.

"I have no doubt that you will unwaveringly continue the great work for the development of the state. I wish for your continued success in the future. I hope that your energy and vigour serve good deeds," the former CM added.

Clearing his stance, Tuki said, "There are no more differences anymore, everything has been cleared once and for all and we are united."

He also expressed his gratitude to top party leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

"I express my gratitude to the top leadership of the party, particularly Sonia Gandhi ji and Rahul Gandhi ji. We will work together as one unit for development of the state & for the service of the people. We will make the party stronger," he said.
