Narendra Modi arrives in Japan

New Delhi, Oct 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in Tokyo city of Japan.

He is visiting Japan to attend the  5th Annual Summit with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: "Konnichiwa こんにちは Japan! PM @narendramodi arrives in #Tokyo to a warm welcome for his 5th Annual Summit with @AbeShinzo. Japan is one of the few countries that India has this mechanism of annual summits, reflecting the extraordinary depth of our engagement."

 

Modi said he is hopeful about his visit to the Asian nation.

 

He tweeted: "Landed in Tokyo. I am confident this visit will add new vigour to the strong friendship between India and Japan."
