Narendra Modi condoles M.M. Jacob's death

New Delhi, July 8 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday condoled the death of former Meghalaya Governor M.M. Jacob.

Modi said Jacob made significant contribution as a Parliamentarian, Minister and Governor. 
 
"Saddened by the demise of former Meghalaya Governor Mr. MM Jacob. He made notable contributions to the nation as a Parliamentarian, Minister and Governor. He worked extensively for the development of Kerala. My thoughts are with his family and well-wishers in this sad hour: PM," PMO India tweeted quoting Modi.
 
 
Jacob passed away in Kottayam due to age-related problems.
 
He was 90.
