Narendra Modi remembers Atal Bihari Vajpayee on birth anniversary

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday remembered former PM  Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.

Recalling his contribution to society, Modi said Vajpayee's development initiatives positively impacted millions of Indians.

"Remembering Atal Ji on his Jayanti. We are inspired by his rich service to the nation. He devoted his life towards making India strong and developed," Modi tweeted.

"His development initiatives positively impacted millions of Indians," he said. 

Vajpayee's birthday is observed as 'Good Governance Day'.
