Narendra Modi targets Congress in San Jose

San Jose, Sept 28 (IBNS): Taking the 'damaad' (son-in-law) swipe, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress as he addressed the Indian community in San Jose on Monday.

Targeting the Gandhi family and which is seen to be a reference to Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and the  land deals that have triggered controversies, Modi said: "A person made 50 crores, that son made 250 crores , then daughter made 500 crores, someone's damaad (son-in-law) even made  1000 crores."

Modi said he will live and die for his country.

"I can assure you that I will live and die for the nation," Modi said.
