Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister Bimalendra Nidhi calls India visit successful

Kathmandu, Aug 23 (IBNS): Returning home, Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister Bimalendra Nidhi said his visit to India was successful.

He reached Tribhuvan International Airport  in Nepal on Tuesday.

Nidhi was quoted as saying by The Himalayan Times that  his visit succeeded in improving Nepal-India ties that had strained recently.

Nidhi was quoted as saying by the newspapr that his India visit as the Nepal Prime Minister’s special envoy was successful and that the Indian side received him with due respect.

During his visit India, the Nepali leader met President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
