New Delhi/UNI: A 25-year-old man has been stabbed to death allegedly by four men after a scuffle in Delhi's Mangolpuri area, police said on Friday.

The deceased, Rinku Sharma, worked as a BJP youth wing worker.

The accused have been identified as Mohammad Danish (36), Mohammad Islam (45), Zahid (26) and Mohammad Mehtab (20), police said.

As per police, the incident occurred post a brawl at a birthday party on Wednesday night.

"On Wednesday night, a scuffle broke out between the accused and victim at a birthday party over their food business. Both sides went home but the four accused went to the victim’s place later… Sharma and his brother were waiting outside. A heated argument led to a fight and one of the accused stabbed Sharma and fled," Additional DCP (Outer) Sudhanshu Dhama told mediapersons here.

He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Sharma and Danish were neighbours and knew each other.

The DCP said the incident occurred over business rivalry and categorically refuted all other allegations.
