No talks with Congress, BSP to contest alone in Madhya Pradesh: BSP leader

New Delhi, June 18 (IBNS): The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has declared that it will fight the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections alone and is not in talks with the Congress party over forming any alliance in the state.

A senior BSP leader told media that his party is planning to contest from all 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh independently.

However, there is no confirmation in media from party supremo Mayawati.

This comes amid wide anticipation that Mayawati's BSP would contest the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh in coalition with the Congress party.

In fact, the Congress party had also claimed that a coalition with BSP was almost certain and in due time the same would be made public.

Madhya Pradesh is likely to go for polls in November or December this year.
