Pakistan violates ceasefire, India retaliates on LoC in Poonch
Jammu/UNI: Pakistan on Wednesday yet again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army however, effectively retaliated to the firing.
Defence spokesman here said that at about 1345 hours, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by intense firing with small arms along the LoC in Kirni sector, District Poonch (J&K).
"Indian Army retaliated befittingly and firing has stopped now," he added.
Army on Monday foiled infiltration bid and eliminated three terrorists and recovered arms and ammunition.
