New Delhi, Jun 13 (IBNS): Accepting Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday morning shared a video where he could be seen training hard.

Modi could be seen doing yoga and also walking on tracks.

Tweeting the video, the PM said: "Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit"

On May 23, Kohli had challenged Modi for the fitness training.

Modi has nominated Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, table tennis player Manika Batra and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers for the fitness challenge.

The PM tweeted, "I am delighted to nominate the following for the #FitnessChallenge: Karnataka’s CM Shri @hd_kumaraswamy. India’s pride and among the highest medal winners for India in the 2018 CWG, @manikabatra_TT. The entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40."

Modi has also urged all to spend some time of each day to fitness.

In a latest tweet, he said: "I appeal to every Indian to devote some part of the day towards fitness. Practice any set of exercises you are comfortable with and you will see the positive difference it will make in your life! #FitnessChallenge #HumFitTohIndiaFit"

The Fit India Movement was launched by Modi in March and he also spoke about it in Mann Ki Baat radio talk show in April.
