PM Modi arrives in Dhordo, attends inaugural session of Conference of DGPs

New Delhi, Dec 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived in the Tent City at Dhordo, in the Rann of Kutch, for the three-day Conference of Directors General of Police.
This is the second time that the Conference is being held outside Delhi. The Conference was held in Guwahati last year. 
 
The Prime Minister attended the inaugural session of the Conference, which was addressed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh. 
 
The Prime Minister launched a website – “Indian Police in Service of the Nation.” 
 
Modi, along with the Home Minister and other delegates, later left for the White Rann, a short distance from Tent City. 
 
He witnessed a camel show performance by the BSF. 
 
The PM also witnessed sunset at the White Rann, followed by a cultural programme. Singh, and Ministers of State for Home Kiren Rijiju and Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary were present.
