Varanasi, Dec 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday earned accolades from his party for bringing his own lunch to a public meeting that he addressed on Thursday at his constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh will be going to polls soon.

Posting his photo where he is seen having lunch, the BJP tweeted: "PM Shri @narendramodi interacted & had lunch with more than 26,000 booth workers belonging to over 1700 booths in Varanasi today."

"Everyone including PM Shri @narendramodi brought their own tiffins and had discussion over a meal. Such equality is possible only in BJP," the party posted.
