PM Modi chairs all-party meeting
According to reports, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) issue was raised during the meeting.
The Centre has reportedly assured political leaders that they are ready to discuss all issues during the upcoming session of the Indian Parliament.
The Budget Session of the Indian Parliament will commence from Feb 23.
"PM @narendramodi met leaders of major Opposition parties and NDA leaders," PMO India tweeted.
The JNU is currently facing protests and counter protests with the police cracking down on students over the anti-India slogans raised earlier to mark the death anniversary of Parliament Attack convict Afzal Guru on its campus in the national capital.
