New Delhi/IBNS: Post the BJP's stupendous performancr in assembly polls in four states, the party held a meeting under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's chairmanship on Sunday to finalise decision on government formation, media reports said.
According to an NDTV report, the prime minister was briefed on the decisions taken by party's top leadership in consultation with the state leaders has taken the key decisions.
Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh and party chief JP Nadda were present at the meeting, said the report.
The party's central observers will be heading to the states tomorrow, sources said.
While BJP announced Sunday that incumbent Manipur CM N Biren Singh will continue for a second term, suspense continues over the name of the next Goa CM.
It is being expected the name of the next Goa CM will be announced Monday before the BJP meets the Governor to stake claim to form government.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take oath for his second term on Friday,
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das are the observer and co-observer for government formation in Uttar Pradesh, the report added.
