PM Modi dials BJP MPs hospitalised with injuries over parliament showdown
New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dialed the two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs who were hospitalised with injuries over a showdown in parliament during Congress' protests against union home minister Amit Shah's controversial remark involving Father of the Constitution, BR Ambedkar.
The Opposition ramped up its protest on Thursday in parliament premises with even lawmakers climbing 'Makar Dwar' in a bizarre scene of political slugfest.
As per BJP's claims, two of its MPs- Mukesh Rajput and Pratap Sarangi- were injured after they were allegedly pushed by Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP from Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli.
Rajpur and Sarangi were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
Dr. Ajay Shukla of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital confirmed that the Prime Minister had inquired about the condition of both the MPs.
Slamming the Congress, BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya said on X, "Yesterday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge threatened arson and violence. Today, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi left BJP MP Pratap Sarangi in blood.
"Dr Ambedkar’s seminal ‘Grammar of Anarchy’ speech had warned against this kind of violence in a democracy. Little would he have known that he would be proved prophetic, again."

In a counter-charge, Congress Rajya Sabha floor leader Mallikarjun Kharge wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla claiming he and Rahul Gandhi were assaulted.
Kharge posted on X, "My letter to the Hon’ble @loksabhaspeaker urging to order an inquiry into the incident which is an assault not just on me personally, but also on the Leader of the Opposition."

Rahul claimed his entry into parliament was blocked by a few ruling party members leading to chaos.
He said, "I was trying to enter the Parliament. But BJP MPs were trying to stop me, pushing me and threatening me. This is Parliament and it is our right to go inside."

लेकिन BJP के सांसद मुझे रोकने की कोशिश कर रहे थे, धक्का दे रहे थे और धमका रहे थे।
ये संसद है और अंदर जाना हमारा अधिकार है।
