PM Modi pays tribute to former PM Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary.

Rajiv Gandhi was India’s prime minister from 1984 to 1989.

He was assassinated by the LTTE terrorists at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu in 1991.

Taking to Twitter, PM Modi wrote, "I pay tributes to former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji on his death anniversary."
