PM Modi to address Indian diaspora today

Abu Dhabi, Aug 17 (IBNS) On the second day of his visit to the UAE, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday will address Indian diaspora in Dubai.

He is likely to meet business delegations here.

Modi arrived in the Asian nation on Sunday.

The Prime Minister was received by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at the airport.

Modi said he is 'optimistic' about his visit to the Asian nation.

"Hello UAE. I am very optimistic about this visit. I am confident the outcomes of the visit will boost India-UAE ties," Modi tweeted.

Modi visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on the first day of his visit.

Thanking the UAE's government for allotting land for building a temple in Abu Dhabi,     Modi tweeted,"I am very thankful to the UAE Govt for their decision to allot land in order to build a Temple in Abu Dhabi. This is a great step."
