PM Modi to interact with top commanders today

New Delhi, Oct 17 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the country's top military commanders for the first time on Friday outline his strategic vision, reports said.

He will also get a briefing on the overall security situation.

The PM will address the Combined Commanders’ conference of the three Services during which he is expected to outline his strategic vision to the military directly, sources said.

Issues like ceasefire violation along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistan and the Line of Actual Control with China is expected to be discussed in the day-long conference.

The conference will also be addressed by Defence Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Home Minister Rajnath Singh, reports said.
