PM Narendra Modi biopic : EC submits detailed report in Supreme Court

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) on Monday filed its detailed report on the release of the Modi biopic, in a sealed cover to the Apex Court.

The Supreme Court three judge bench, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, had earlier in the last hearing asked the EC to file a report in a sealed cover as to what it wanted as to whether release the biopic movie or not to release it.

"We direct the Election Commission (EC) to submit a copy of it's report to the petitioner, Filmmakers, and later on April 26, we will hear the matter," a bench of the Top Court led by CJI, Gogoi said.

The Apex Court also asked the EC to give a copy to the biopic film makers (the petitioners in the case) and fixed the matter for further hearing to April 26, Friday.

Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi is the lead actor in the biopic movie, of Narendra Modi.
