PM Narendra Modi pays homage to APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary

New Delhi, Oct 15 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam on his 84th birth anniversary.

"Salutations to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary," Modi tweeted.

Modi will attend the birth anniversary celebrations of former President at DRDO Bhavan in New Delhi later.

As part of the event, the Prime Minister will unveil a statue of Kalam.

He will open and witness a photo exhibition titled "A Celebration of Dr. Kalam's Life."
