PM Narendra Modi saddened by devastation caused by floods in Pakistan
New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Monday expressed sadness over the loss of lives due to flood in Pakistan.
Modi said he wishes the country witnesses early restoration of normalcy.
" Saddened to see the devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the injured and all those affected by this natural calamity and hope for an early restoration of normalcy," Modi tweeted.

Floods and high rainfall have completely ravaged different parts of Pakistan for the past several days.
Over 1000 people have lost their lives so far.
This year's flooding has affected more than 33 million people — one in seven Pakistanis — said the National Disaster Management Authority, reports Geo News.
