PM Narendra Modi to address rallies in HP
Shimla, May 5 (UNI) BJP's star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah will address five election meetings in Himachal Pradesh on May 10, 12 and 13, party said in a statement on Sunday.
BJP state party general secretary Chander Mohan Thakur said that Prime Minister is scheduled to address first election meeting on May 10 at Mandi at 1200 hrs to canvass for party sitting MP and candidate Mr Ramswroop Sharma.
According to Thakur, PM Modi will address party public meeting at Solan in Shimla reserved parliamentary seat in support of party candidate Suresh Kashyap on May 13 at 1230 hrs.
Meanwhile, Party president Amit Saha will address the public meeting at Chamba in Kangra PC on May 12 at 1000 hr, Bilaspur in Hamirpur Parliamentary segment at 1130 hrs and at Nahan of Sirmaur district in Shimla PC 1330 hrs in support of party candidates Mr Kishan Kapoor, Mr Anurag Thakur and Mr Kashyap respectively, party general secretary informed.
On the other hand, Congress also declared that party President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary and party's star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will conduct road show on May 16 from Shimla to Theog and she is also likely to address public meeting at Theog.
However, Gandhi who was about to address public meeting at Solan on May 14 , is now likely to address the gathering on May 11.
Election for four Lok Sabha seats will be held in Himachal Pradesh from 0700 hrs to 1800 hrs on May 19 as including eight candidates of Congress and BJP total 45 candidates are in fray including a woman candidate.
