Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.

This “Tenth Edition” of Vibrant Gujarat will celebrate “20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success." The theme of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit this year is 'Gateway to the Future'.

UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi and President of Timor Leste José Ramos-Horta, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel will attend the inaugural session.

After the inaugural session, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with the CEOs of top global corporations. Modi will interact with prominent business leaders in the Global FinTech Leadership Forum to be held at GIFT City in the evening.

There are 34 partner countries and 16 partner organisations for this year’s summit. Along with the Indian industrialists, nearly 200 global CEOs are expected to attend the summit.

This year, the summit will focus on sunrise sectors like semiconductors, green hydrogen, e-mobility, and space manufacturing.

Along with more than 2500 B2B and B2C meetings, the summit will also have a series of seminars on globally relevant topics such as Industry 4.0, technology and innovation, and renewable energy, among others.

The Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region will utilise the Vibrant Gujarat platform to showcase investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions.

In the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, companies will display products made from world-class state-of-the-art technology.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the seminar on the Gujarat road map for 2047 today, while Union textile minister Piyush Goyal will participate in various seminars and also attend the India-UAE summit this evening.

Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, conceptualised in 2003 under the "visionary leadership" of Narendra Modi, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a bilateral meeting and signed four MoUs to transform the India-UAE partnership.

The four MoUs were signed between India and the UAE in the presence of the two leaders, including one between the Gujarat government and DP World, a multinational logistics company based in Dubai.

"Giving a boost to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership! PM Narendra Modi held warm discussions with HH @MohamedBinZayed, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, in Gandhinagar," MEA said on X.

"In their 4th meeting in less than 7 months, the leaders hailed the rapidly transforming India-UAE partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to a shared and prosperous future," said Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal in a post on social media platform X.

Giving details about the MoUs in another post, Jaiswal said three of the agreements between India and the UAE were on investment cooperation in the renewable energy sector, innovative healthcare projects, and food park development.
