President Mukherjee's message on the eve of National Day of Romania

New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Romania on the eve of their National Day (December 01).

In his message to Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me immense pleasure to send you and to the people of Romania warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day.

"Indo-Romanian relations are time-tested and have grown from strength to strength over the decades. We are confident that with the several initiatives taken by our two Governments, our bilateral cooperation in a number of sectors as well as in the international fora will continue to be strengthened."

Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and personal well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Romania," he said.
