President wishes Slovak Republic on the eve of Constitution Day

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS):President of India Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Slovak Republic on the eve of their Constitution Day.

In a message to Andrej Kiska, the President of the Slovak Republic, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of Slovakia on the occasion of your Constitution Day."

"Relations between India and Slovakia have always been warm and friendly. I am confident that our bilateral ties will continue to grow stronger in the coming years. In July this year your country assumed the Presidency of the European Union. I would like to felicitate you and wish you success in your leadership of this important body," he said.

"I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Slovakia,” the President said.
