Prime Minister to inaugurate PETROTECH – 2016

New Delhi, Nov 4 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s flagship biennial international oil and gas conference and exhibition, PETROTECH-2016 on Dec 5.

Petrotech is Asia’s largest oil and gas event. The theme for this event is “Hydrocarbons to fuel the future - Choices and Challenges”.

The global event aims at bringing Energy Ministers, industry leaders, professionals, academicians and domain experts from the energy sector on a common platform.

The Conference showcases the strengths & potential of Indian Hydrocarbon industry to the world besides providing a vibrant platform for exchange of ideas, sharing of experience, knowledge and technological development across various segments of hydrocarbon industry and opportunities for business collaborations.

Petrotech Conference will comprise a gamut of enriching programmes such as Ministerial Sessions, Ministerial Conclave, Plenary Sessions, Theme Sessions and Technical Sessions.

Petrotech will also include a BRICS Roundtable of Energy Ministers and a Roundtable discussion involving select CELAC countries of Latin America.

Alongside PETROTECH-2016, India will also host the International Energy Forum – International Gas Union (IEF-IGU) Ministerial Forum on De 6, 2016.

6000 delegates from about 75 countries are expected to attend Petrotech.

The accompanying Exhibition will see participation of leading oil and gas companies of the world and 15 country pavilions.
