Rahul Gandhi comes up with plan for entrepreneurs, easy credit, no angel tax

New Delhi, Mar 28 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday came up with a plan for budding entrepreneurs by promising them to provide easy credit and remove angel tax.

In a tweet, Gandhi wrote: "Want to start a new business? Want to create jobs for India? Here’s our plan for you:

1. ZERO permissions for the first 3 years of any new business.
2. Goodbye Angel Tax
3. Solid incentives & tax credits based on how many jobs you create.
4.  Easy Bank Credit"

As a part of the election campaign, the Congress has repeatedly accused the government of failing to provide new jobs.

Even some businessmen have alleged that the Centre's Start-Up India initiative, meant to provide encouragement to entrepreneurs, has also fallen short of its objective.

Presently, Rahul Gandhi has been announcing several new initiatives to woo voters ahead of the election.

As a part of his big announcement, Rahul Gandhi announced Rs 72,000-crore minimum income guarantee scheme for the poorest people in the country.

Any poor but working person, who has an income of less than Rs. 12,000 per month, will be helped by the scheme to touch the "minimum income line". Once the person's income naturally becomes Rs. 12,000 per month, the scheme will automatically cease to work.

Gandhi said the scheme would benefit 25 crore people in the country.
