Rahul Gandhi to address gathering in Rajasthan today

Bhopal, Sept 20 (IBNS): Months ahead of the Assembly polls in the state, Congress president Rahul Gandhi will visit Rajasthan on Thursday.

Rahul will address a gathering in Sagwara, Dungarpur district of the state.

The Assembly polls are due to be held in the state at the end of the year.

Riding on state unit chief Sachin Pilot's leadership, the Congress is eyeing on to wrest power in the state, defeating the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

A recent poll survey had projected a big win for the Congress in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje began a 58-day Yatra (rally), which is observed as a poll campaign for the saffron brigade, in August.
