Raje 'saddened' over controversy on cow art work

Jaipur, Nov 23 (IBNS): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhar Raje on Sunday said the police commissioner of Jaipur has apologised for the detention of two people over an art installation at the Jawahar Kala Kendra which showed a replica of a cow that hanged from a balloon.

She said the police officials, who were involved int he detention, have been removed.

Two artists were detained on Saturday over the art work reports said.

"The SHO and concerned have been removed and I have spoken to the artist personally," Raje tweeted.

"I am saddened by the incident that took place at JKK yesterday. The Police Commissioner has extended his apology," she said.
