Rajnath Singh to visit Srinagar tomorrow to review situation

Srinagar, July 22 (IBNS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to arrive in Srinagar on Saturday to review the prevailing situation after the death of local ,ilitant Burhan Wani since July 8.
Over 50 civilians have been killed in the ongoing unrest while 4000 have injured in the Valley after the killing Burhan Wani
 
Rajnath Singh is scheduled to meet trade bodies, civil society and other stake holders.
 
He is likely to announce dialogue with Kashmiri separatists leaders.
 
A representative of the trade bodies said that they have been invited to meet the minister however are unaware about venue.
 
The visit of the Home Minster comes a day after when Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti convened an all party meeting here to evolve a consensus among all stake holders to restore peace in the fresh turmoil.
 
Singh himself in the ongoing Parliament session informed about his visit to the state.
 
“I had spoken to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who said she would come to Delhi in the next 2-3 days to hold discussions. I told her that I myself would like to go there, stay in a guest house and meet people there,” he said.
 
On pellet guns that have left hundreds of youth blind, the home minister had said that a committee would be set up to review the use of the pellet gun use.
