Rajya Sabha polls for 11 seats in UP, Uttarakhand on Nov 9
New Delhi/IBNS: The elections for 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will be held on Nov 9, media reports said.
Among the 11 seats, nine are from UP and two are from Uttarakhand.
Masks, thermal scanning and sanitisers will have to be used during polls to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
The Election Commission (EC) has stated social distancing norms will be followed during the poll process.
The assembly elections in Bihar will also be held amid Covid-19 pandemic in three phases on Oct 28, Nov 3 and 7.
The poll results will be declared on Nov 10.
