New Delhi/IBNS: Retired Supreme Court judge Indu Malhotra will be heading the panel formed by the top court to probe into Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security breach in poll-bound Punjab that has triggered political ramifications, media reports said.

The officers of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Punjab Police will also be parts of the probe, the top court said.

On last Wednesday, the Prime Minister was going to Bhatinda to visit the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala by helicopter.

Due to rain and poor visibility, the Prime Minister waited for 15-20 minutes for the weather to clear out.

Since the bad weather condition continued, it was decided the Prime minister would visit the National Martyrs Memorial via road.

When the Prime Minister's cavalcade reached the flyover, it was found that the road was blocked by some protestors owing to which he was stuck on a flyover for 15-20 minutes.
