Row in Tamil Nadu after dhoti-clad judge denied club entry
Chennai, July 14 (IBNS) A row was sparked in Chennai after a judge of Madras High Court who was wearing a dhoti was reportedly denied entry in a club owing to its dress code.
The news of the denial of entry to Justice D Hariparanthaman sparked a protest with the Opposition DMK slamming it.
DMK chief M Karunanidhi said there should be no dress code in such places and the government must step in since dhoti is a culture of India.
