Samastipur: JD(U) leader killed

Samastipur, Aug 28 (UNI) JD (U) leader Kailash Singh was killed with sharp edged weapon by criminals at Baghi village under Tajpur police station area in Samastipur district late last night.

Police said here today that Singh was fast asleep in his courtyard when criminals attacked with sharp edged weapon causing serious injuries to him. He died before being rushed to hospital, police added.

"Body had been sent for postmortem", police said adding that raids were being carried out to nab the culprits. A case in this connection had been lodged at concerned police station, police stated.
